Membership is Free!

 

The United Way InKind Exchange is a program of the United Way of the Alberta Capital Region. The Exchange seeks to offer a convenient, cost-effective way for charities (“Agency”) to acquire much needed office furniture, office supplies, technology and personal care products for their office and their clients.

A membership is required to access resources from the Exchange, and resources cannot be acquired without producing a valid membership card.

After your membership application is approved, you will be granted access to the Staples Advantage website. As a member, you will receive weekly emails containing news and featured items from the InKind Exchange.

 

Agency Membership Criteria

  • Be a non-profit organization that is a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency (a fully-funded government institution, department, or program is not eligible for Exchange membership)
  • Not have the nomination or election of candidates to political office as an explicit purpose
  • Have a volunteer component in the governance and/or in the operation of the organization
  • Commit to using our products and services in an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members, staff, clients, volunteers, subcontractors and vendors
